Saint Faustina came from a religious and poor family. She was turned away from many convents as she was judged by her appearance and poverty. This was until the Mother Superior for the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy finally accepted her.
 
Saint Faustina is famous for writing The Divine Mercy Prayer. This prayer and the Divine Mercy Chaplet came from a 600 page diary of recordings and revelations Faustina received about God’s mercy. Saint Faustina had a deep childlike trust in God and is the patron Saint of mercy.
